When it started business, CMON Limited manufactured miniatures and miniature-related wargames. Over time, the company started publishing board games with a miniatures-related theme, such as Arcadia Quest, Blood Rage, and Zombicide. In 2015, CMON Limited escalated its game publication efforts, branching out into many different types of publications and partnering with publishers in Europe and Australia to release games in the North American market and elsewhere.

CMON Limited was formerly known as Cool Mini Or Not, changing its name in 2016.
