Nathan Hajek is a senior designer at Fantasy Flight Games who has led development for many Descent: Journeys in the Dark Second Edition expansions, including the Heirs of Blood campaign book and the Road to Legend companion app, which transformed the game into a fully cooperative experience.

He also led the design for WizWar: Bestial Forces, as well as being credited as a developer on Star Wars: Imperial Assault and Mansions of Madness: Second Edition.

Nathan’s recent designs include two major titles: Fallout: The Board Game and the critically acclaimed The Lord of the Rings: Journeys in Middle-Earth, which won the Dice Tower’s Solo Game of the Year for 2019.

From 2019 to 2021, Nathan led the design of Descent: Legends of the Dark, Fantasy Flight Game’s largest and most ambitious board game to date.
